“IS THIS WINE REALLY WORTH $3,000?” Working as a sommelier for one of Hawai‘i’s best restaurants, I heard this question a lot on the floor. Forget the five hundred other selections; people wanted to know about the most expensive wine on the list, the 2005 Screaming Eagle cabernet sauvignon from Napa Valley. I could never quite answer that question personally, but I could answer it professionally.
