Tiffany Tanaka has set her sights on a fashion career for as long as she can remember. That dream, combined with a vision to put Hawai’i on the map as an art and fashion hub, inspired her to open Fresh Café and Aloha De Nime, a café-boutique concept on Queen Street in Kakaeako that she hopes will start a movement. “Hawai’i is such an amazing place, and the people have so much talent,” says the 29-year-old from Kaimuki, “but we’ve been limited by our location. I want my generation to overcome that.”
