As a 12-year-old killing time in Illinois, Ben Schorr hopped onto his grandfather’s againg Timex comuter and wrote a program that used statistics to predict the outcome of National Football League games.Matti “Roland” Raihala fell in love with computers at an even earlier age. Using the classic Commodore 64, the Oregon native spent his childhood living vicariously through a “Pigs in Space” game he programmed as a 7-year-old.
