FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
April 28, 2008
Honolulu, HI - Pacific Edge Magazine, a quarterly publication sold in Hawai‘i, has released its 2nd year anniversary issue. Spotlighting Hawai‘i’s rising young professionals, Pacific Edge captures the inspiration and motivation behind the success of each individual.
The anniversary issue, which has an April/May/June cover date, includes interviews with a variety of young professionals including Christine Camp of Avalon Development Company, Dustin Shindo of Hoku Scientific and Flash Hansen and Matty Boy Hazelgrove, Hawaii’s top nightlife promoters. Featured columnists include Governor Linda Lingle, Bob Sigall (author of The Companies We Keep 1 and 2), and Toby Tamaye, who offers insights on marketing in Hawaii.
The current cover is illustrated by famed local artist Mark Swanson. Swanson has worked in animation and design for over 25 years with companies such as Pixar and Walt Disney. “His art, in my opinion, captures both the local business and magazine’s spirit in its essence,” says publisher Naomi Hazelton-Giambrone. “Mark reaches into the depths of his imagination and his surroundings for inspiration, and he illustrates with a cheerful and lighthearted approach.”
